Review: Stork OTC

October 5, 2017 5 Comments

This is a sponsored conversation from Mums the Word Network and The Stork OTC. All opinions are my own.

When deciding to have children, I researched everything. I searched everywhere, asked everyone I knew that were parents and willing to discuss their journey. I wanted to know as much as I could before going forward. With our first, Birdie, we got pregnant – no issue. Becoming pregnant with Tot, was a surprise. As a breastfeeding mother and no cycle – we had no clue what was going on.

The whole process is tricky. No one expects to have problems or run into issues. You have to make sure you’re ovulating and having sex on the right days. Are we doing it right? How much sperm is actually needed? Did enough sperm actually make it to where it needs to go? Was it even high enough?

It’s hard. You need healthy sperm to make it to an egg. Not only that, but during ovulation. So what if I told you there’s an OTC kit that helps with the conception process? And it’s available at your local Target, CVS and online at for $59.99!

The Stork OTC is the only FDA cleared conception device that helps you get pregnant during ovulation. It comes with 2 pieces: a cap that holds the semen and an applicator (kind of like a tampon). After the semen is collected in the cap, it gets placed near the woman’s cervix. It stays there for about 6 hours and then it is removed.

So in all, you purchase a kit. Wash your hands and apply the “condom” to your partner. Have natural intercourse. Attach the cervical cap with semen to the applicator and apply. Leave in for about 6 hours – go on with your day. Remove with string (kind of like a tampon).

Here’s a full length video on how it works:
